Summary
Anko Uehara is a sporty student from an affluent family who maintains a close circle with Naoko Asano and Mayuko Izumi. She is among the initial instigators of conflict against Eikichi Onizuka, largely due to her group’s persistent harassment of Noboru Yoshikawa. After their latest attack leaves Noboru severely beaten and humiliated, Onizuka intervenes by spanking the girls at a karaoke bar and taking photographs of the incident as evidence. Anko then leverages her mother’s position as president of the Parent-Teacher Association to have Onizuka dismissed, relying on her mother’s belief in Anko’s innocence. However, this plan fails when Noboru and Yoshito Kikuchi expose Anko’s cruel bullying behavior to the student body and the PTA. Following a tearful confrontation with her mother regarding their strained relationship and unrealistic perfectionist standards, Anko experiences a degree of family reconciliation. Despite her actions, she faces no severe punishment for the assault on Noboru. Later, while offering verbal support, Anko and her friends keep their distance from other students’ attempts to oust Onizuka.
