Summary
Marika Tachibana, a 17-year-old girl from Kyushu, Japan, transfers into Raku’s class and is introduced as his fiancée. The daughter of the police chief, she has harbored feelings for Raku for a decade, a connection that began when a young Raku frequently visited her during her frequent illnesses and brought her gifts. She carries a key she believes will unlock Raku’s pendant and is the most vocal about her affection for him. Despite having long hair herself, she claims to dislike girls with long hair and clashes with Chitoge. Although she once spoke in a vulgar manner, she attempted to correct her speech after Raku mentioned he prefers girly girls with long hair, though she reverts to her old habits when flustered.
