Summary
Madoka is Ayumu’s sister-in-law and the wife of Kiyotaka, serving as a police detective. Although her investigative skills are impressive, she is frequently outsmarted by Ayumu during their cases. Her demanding career keeps her away from home so often that she is unable to handle domestic duties. She holds deep affection for Ayumu, yet displays a degree of selfishness, remaining largely unaware of the emotional toll her reliance on him takes. Now that Kiyotaka has gone missing, Ayumu has no other family, making her his sole support. While Madoka attempts to shield Ayumu from excessive involvement with the Blade Children, she ultimately becomes another vulnerability for him. To ensure her safety, Ayumu frequently keeps her in the dark regarding situations connected to the Blade Children.
