Summary
Eckener, also known as Grencia Mars Elijah Guo, formerly served as a soldier in the war against the Titans. He appears in the two-part episodes titled 'Jupiter Jazz'. During the conflict, he fought alongside Vicious, whom he deeply admired and drew encouragement from. Following the war, Gren returned to the city with the ambition of becoming a jazz musician. However, his plans were derailed when he was arrested under the false pretense of being a spy. While incarcerated, he discovered that Vicious had testified against him. This betrayal, combined with the harsh isolation of prison life, drove him to madness. The prison authorities used inmates for drug experiments, forcing Gren to become a test subject for these dangerous procedures.
