Summary
Noriko Nakajima is portrayed as the sweet, cute, and arguably most "normal" member of class 5-3, standing in stark contrast to her more eccentric peers. While she never actively seeks out trouble, chaotic situations seem to inevitably find her. Initially appearing as a "background character" primarily seen alongside her best friend Shizuka, "Noro-chan" gradually rises to become a prominent figure in the class and a frequent target of spiritual phenomena. She faces particular hostility from Miki, a buxom blonde with shoulder-length pink hair and the second-largest bust in the class, who is perpetually jealous of Noriko’s cute appearance and tendency to steal the spotlight, often shouting "Noro-chan no kuse ni!!" ("That Noro-chan!"). Although she generally appears docile and quiet, Noriko can reveal a wilder, more playful side when certain youkai phenomena occur. Beyond her social dynamics, she is a bookworm and a clever tactician, having played a pivotal role in solving a disturbing case involving the ghost of the school library and kidnappings linked to the spirit's favorite book, which happened to be the same title Noriko was reading.
