Summary
Tatsumi Oga is the central protagonist of the Beelzebub series. Initially introduced as a powerful fighter, he established his dominance by defeating classmates who had attacked him while sleeping, forcing them to bow in submission. He was chosen to become the guardian of Beelzebub, deemed the ideal parent for the future Demon Lord due to his strength, arrogance, and utter disregard for others. Oga also appears to enjoy tormenting people, though his personality shifts as the story progresses. Trials and new friendships soften him somewhat; for instance, when the Rokkisei challenged Ishiyama, Oga initially arrived alone but later smiled with confidence upon seeing Himekawa, Kunieda, and Natsume join him, knowing they had his back. Despite this growth, he retains his fondness for cruelty.
