Hirato is a twenty-seven-year-old Second Ship's Captain with dark purple hair and eyes. Born on October 22, he stands 185 cm tall and has AB blood type. His name derives from the kanji for "even, flat, peace" and "gates." He enjoys wine and Kirine fruits, and his primary interest lies in meddling with people. A man of few true feelings, Hirato maintains a polite demeanor that often masks his thoughts, leaving his inner motivations a mystery. His suspicious appearance frequently leads to him being teased by supervisors at the administration tower, though he appears unaffected by their jabs. Despite his casual attitude toward his duties, he performs his job effectively, and his smile can be quite deceiving. He is the same age as First Ship's Captain Tsukitachi and has an older brother. Hirato is often absent from the ship due to external work obligations. In combat, he wields a cane and utilizes a special attack named Vakuum, a German term for vacuum. He is known to entrust Nai and Gareki to the care of Yogi and Tsukumo.
