Rossweisse
Summary
Rossweisse is a reincarnated devil who serves as the Rook for the Kuou Academy peerage. Originally a Valkyrie and bodyguard to Odin, she was left behind in Issei’s town following the conflict with Loki and Fenrir. Rias then persuaded her to join her faction, and she now works as a teacher at Kuou Academy. She holds the rank of Low-Class Devil, having promoted to High-Class Devil by True Volume 4. Professionally, Rossweisse is extremely serious and prioritizes her duties above all else, a trait that has made her an appreciated educator who actively helps students in need. However, this rigid demeanor has left her romantically inexperienced, making her bitter and sensitive about her lack of a boyfriend. She is quick to anger when teased about this and has little tolerance for unprofessional behavior, particularly lewd acts. Despite her stern lectures, she harbors desires for perverted activities with a future partner who is financially stable. Beneath her composed exterior, she is actually clumsy and prone to rash decisions. She is also highly susceptible to alcohol, becoming drunk and ill after just one drink. When intoxicated, her repressed frustrations surface, and she drops her modest facade. Additionally, she has a compulsive love for bargain hunting, especially at 100-Yen shops, earning her the nickname "The 100-Yen Shop Valkyrie" from Issei, and she reverts to her country’s accent when flustered. Her romantic life began to shift when she acted shy and age-appropriate during a date with Issei. After he promised to protect her from Euclid in Volume 17, she developed deep feelings for him. Following their engagement, Rossweisse has begun participating in the perverted activities she once frowned upon, such as wearing revealing lingerie and competing with other girls for Issei’s attention.
