Born on November 30, 1980, Komatsu Nana stands 158 cm tall and weighs 46 kg. She hails from a large, happy household as the middle child of three sisters, alongside her older sister Nao and younger sister Nami, along with her parents, Natsuko and her father. Unlike Osaki, who faced greater hardships, Komatsu’s sheltered upbringing and childish outlook initially prevented her from living independently when she moved to Tokyo in search of her dreams. Her life changed forever after a chance encounter with Osaki sparked a deep friendship. Through this bond, she was introduced to Osaki’s band, Black Stones, and its members. She later assisted the band Blast in finding a new bassist by designing an advertisement poster. In a surprising twist, she discovered that the members of Blast were friends with those of Trapnest, a popular rock band she admired greatly. Her nickname "Hachi" or "Hachiko" plays on the Japanese word for the number eight and references the loyal dog Hachiko, who waited years for his deceased owner. This moniker suits her well, as she is often viewed as Nana No.2, since Nana signifies the number seven. Early in the series, she is characterized by her reliance on others and her blind loyalty.
