Summary
Renzou Kawakami is the son of Araya Kawakami, a member of the Itto-Ryu. Rin initially befriends him, but her affection turns to horror upon discovering that his father was the man who raped and murdered her mother. To spare Renzou from a life consumed by vengeance, Rin and Manji stage an elaborate deception. They create a scenario where it appears Manji cold-bloodedly killed Araya, only to be slain in turn by Renzou. Following these events, Renzou is left orphaned by Manji's actions and now works alongside Shira.
