Summary
Vice-Admiral Komir serves as the commander of Naval Base G2, appearing during the chapter title-page mini-story centered on Portgas D. Ace. His administrative sessions are notoriously ruined by the poor quality of the coffee, a frustration Ace witnesses directly after infiltrating the base while disguised as a Naval officer. Although Ace’s disguise is eventually discovered, he manages to resolve the situation by helping the milkmaid Moda reunite with her parents aboard the Naval Grocery Ship. This act secures a consistent milk supply for Base G2, which in turn allows the Vice-Admiral to enjoy pleasant meetings accompanied by properly prepared coffee. He first appears in Chapter 289.
