Summary
Tsujii Takeshi is a 9 dan professional shogi player who has maintained an A rank for the past eight years. He has a fondness for wordplay and actively seeks public attention. Within the shogi community, he is often regarded as a waste of his handsome appearance because of his tendency to use dad jokes and deliver terrible puns. Typically, he is the only person who laughs at his own gags. During the quarterfinals of the 20th Lion King Tournament, Tsujii faced off against the protagonist, Kiriyama Rei.
