Summary
Kousei Arima is a 14- to 15-year-old prodigy pianist, celebrated as the youngest ever winner of the prestigious Saki Competition. However, his musical career came to an abrupt halt following the tragic death of his mother, which left him unable to hear the sounds of his own playing. For the subsequent two years, he abstained from performing, experiencing the world in monotone colors until he encountered Kaori Miyazono.
