As the eldest and most revered resident of Mount Myōboku, the Great Toad Sage is known to the other toads as the Great Honorable Geezer. His advanced age, spanning several millennia, is evident in his perpetually smiling demeanor, often with eyes closed or squinting. While he is frequently depicted as senile and prone to quickly forgetting details, he remains remarkably wise and capable of recalling information with precision when prompted. He serves as a peacemaker, quickly intervening to stop Shima and Fukasaku from bickering in favor of harmony. Unlike many of his kin, he holds Jiraiya in high regard, actively urging both Shima and Fukasaku to cooperate with the ninja.
