Summary
Thatch served as the commander of the 4th Division within the Whitebeard Pirates. His role in the narrative became pivotal when he discovered the Yami Yami no Mi, a Devil Fruit that Blackbeard had been seeking. Blackbeard had originally infiltrated the crew specifically to obtain this power, leading him to murder Thatch and abscond with the fruit. Thatch first appeared in Chapter 440 and Episode 325.
