He served as both the author of the book and the director of the film titled "Embracing Love," which featured Kyosuke Iwaki in the lead role. Due to the significant popularity the movie achieved in Japan and overseas, Nagisa Sawa chose to announce "Embracing Love: The TV Series" a year later.
