Summary
As the offspring of Vlad Tepes, also known as Dracula, Mina Tepes holds the title of ruler over all vampires. Her initial encounter with the co-protagonist Akira occurred when he was still a child. Because she is a vampire who does not age, her physical form typically resembles that of a prepubescent girl, although she possesses the ability to transform into an adult woman. While she initially comes across as arrogant and self-indulgent, she is actually deeply protective of the vampire community she governs. Mina is willing to take extreme risks, including sacrificing her own life, to ensure the survival and future of her kind. Although she can be harsh in her interactions with Akira, she harbors genuine affection and love for him, expressing these feelings in the manner best suited to her position within the vampire hierarchy.
