Summary
Yoshito Kikuchi is a student under Eikichi Onizuka at Holy Forest Academy. A computer prodigy who achieved the highest scores on a standardized test without assistance, he holds the position of class president. During Onizuka’s tenure, Kikuchi gained notoriety for creating pornographic composite images, which he used to blackmail the teacher into resigning by displaying them throughout the school. Instead of disciplining him, Onizuka hired Kikuchi to produce similar images of Azusa Fuyutsuki and other female staff members, a request that greatly surprised the student. Kikuchi eventually formed a bond with Onizuka, later assisting Noboru Yoshikawa in stopping Anko Uehara’s mother, the head of the Parent-Teacher Association, from having Onizuka dismissed. He is an amateur martial artist with training in judo and other skills taught by Mayu Wakui, though he claims in the live-action adaptation to only possess theoretical knowledge. It was revealed after the exams that Kikuchi had swapped Onizuka’s test papers to ensure a perfect score. When he calculated the teacher’s actual results and found them surprising, he questioned Onizuka directly. The teacher confirmed that he had indeed received a perfect score, despite uncertainty over whether his true intelligence warranted such a grade. In the manga, a romantic connection with Ai Tokiwa is hinted at following intervention and a forced embrace orchestrated by Onizuka. In the live-action version, Kikuchi is depicted as being in a long-distance relationship with Tomoko Nomura.
