Summary
Balto is an original character in the anime who holds the title of a Noble within the District of Marquis. He shares a friendship with Pixis, with whom he engages in casual chess matches. When news of the Trost invasion in year 850 reaches him, Balto attempts to dissuade Pixis from heading to the front lines. Instead, he urges Pixis and his soldiers to remain behind to safeguard Balto and his estate, demonstrating a callous disregard for the commoners under attack, whom he regards as worthless trash. He makes his first appearance in Episode 5.
