Summary
Spirit, currently serving as the Shinigami’s weapon and Maka’s father, is fiercely protective of his daughter and constantly attempts to rush to her aid whenever she faces danger, though he is invariably intercepted by the Shinigami. Although he and Maka’s mother are divorced due to his persistent flirting with other women, he remains deeply loyal to both of them. He frequently visits clubs while shouting declarations of his love for Maka and his ex-wife, whom he affectionately calls Mama. Despite his sorrow over his daughter’s hatred toward him, he strives to be a good father through his eccentric behavior. In the past, he partnered with Dr. Franken before teaming up with Mama, which eventually led to their marriage and subsequent split. He continues to suffer from nightmares about Dr. Franken dissecting him and retains memories of their time as roommates during college.
