Suirou

Summary
Suirou was a talented flutist and served as a crucial source of support for the young Kurama Shinjirou. He consistently provided comfort to Kurama whenever the latter felt depressed after being struck and insulted by Jirou for his inability to fly. Jirou eventually grew tired of this dynamic and concluded that Kurama’s failure to fly stemmed from Suirou’s constant coddling. To test this theory, Jirou took Kurama to a deep crevice inhabited by the Raijiuyuu, declaring that Kurama could only escape if he managed to fly, or else be consumed by the creature. Upon learning of Kurama’s predicament, Suirou rushed into the Raijiuyuu’s cave to rescue him. Unfortunately, Suirou was struck by lightning during the attempt and lost his ability to fly, while Kurama sustained only minor injuries and successfully escaped.
