Summary
Born on October 8, Lan Xichen currently serves as the head of the Lan clan. Alongside his younger brother, Lan Wangji, he is renowned as one of the Twin Jades of Lan. Physically resembling his brother, he is distinguished by his darker eye color. He is characterized by a warm, refined, and gentle demeanor, often maintaining a polite smile for everyone he encounters. Unlike many in their cultivation society, he extends equal courtesy to all regardless of social status, a trait exemplified when he graciously accepts tea from Jin Guangyao despite others’ refusal to engage with the son of a prostitute. Although he is slow to anger, he becomes fiercely protective when someone he cares for is disrespected, such as when he reacts with fury to the perceived mockery of Lan Wangji’s feelings by Wei Wuxian. He also shares a sworn oath of brotherhood with Nie Mingjue and Jin Guangyao.
