Arin is a sixteen-year-old girl whose archive is Wrath, with Thelma titles of Ruina, Paratum, and Victoria in a temporary state. She carries the Grimoire Laguna Yggdrasil and possesses the body measurements of B83-W56-H84. Described as a mysterious figure, she insists that Arata is her husband, a claim she maintains despite the lack of an official marriage arrangement. Visually, she bears a striking resemblance to Hijiri, who is Arata’s cousin and childhood friend. Arin exhibits a stoic demeanor, rarely displaying emotions and remaining indifferent to the opinions of others. Her introduction to Arata occurred when she was bathing in the men’s bath because she preferred the quiet atmosphere, a setting that is typically male-dominated due to the general female affinity for magic. Even after being discovered by Arata, she acted casually, as if no breach of etiquette had occurred. While she herself is emotionally reserved, she is highly perceptive of the feelings of those around her. Her past is shrouded in mystery, as she has no memories prior to the age of eight. She recalls only a void of nothingness, followed by a gradual awakening to the world, which led to her crying and wandering until the headmaster found her and brought her to the academy, where she has resided ever since. Arin believes herself to be the wife of the Magic King or Demon Lord, which causes her to become jealous of anyone flirting with Arata, though she has stated that she does not mind the Trinity Seven members since they are all friends. As the story progresses, she begins to show more emotion, such as smiling and blushing when interacting with Arata, a change noted by the other Trinity Seven members who prefer this softer side of her. Her magical abilities are primarily spell-based, falling under the branch of Chaotic Rune, which is said to manifest the power of the gods. When enhanced, her magic can overpower the power of the Magic King or Demon Lord. She activates her magic by writing Norse runes in the air. Additionally, her magic is highly compatible with Yui’s Arc Symphony.
