Summary
Among the various obstacles within Muscle Tower, Goku’s confrontation with Sergeant Metallic, also known as Full Metal Jacket, proved to be the most formidable challenge. As a mechanical entity, Metallic possessed extreme durability, and his defeat was ultimately attributed not to Goku’s strength but to the depletion of the major’s battery power. In the anime adaptation, Goku inadvertently decapitates him with a Kamehameha, yet the robot continues its assault even after losing its head and later both wrists, attempting to crush Goku underfoot. This encounter marked the first instance in the series where an opponent managed to withstand several blows from the Saiyan and remain active. Metallic made a brief reappearance in Dragonball GT, firing his arm and inflicting significant damage to a structure. Visually, the character serves as a clear homage and parody of the Terminator, portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
