Summary
Daryl is a Furniture and the caretaker of Riki, a position he holds with deep devotion. He addresses Riki as "Sir Riki" and cherishes him for his pride and refusal to bow down to authority. The two share a history, having both originated from the Guardian orphanage during their childhood. In the novel, Daryl meets his end after allowing Riki to escape, while his ultimate fate in the Cd Drama remains unclear, with speculation suggesting he may have been sold elsewhere. Similar to Katze, Daryl is an intelligent Furniture capable of hacking into the system. He first appears in the novel and was voiced by Ryōtarō Okiayu in the 1993 drama CD, with Eiji Hanawa taking over the role in subsequent releases.
