Summary
Claire serves as a member of the Control Section, an organization that functions as a hybrid of mission control and air traffic management for spacecraft operating at or stationed near the ISPV 7 Space Station. Although she was raised in the United States, she was born in El Tanika, a South American nation plagued by poverty. During her time there, she formed a significant bond with Hakim, who is affiliated with the Orbital Security Agency and is later selected as a candidate for the Jupiter Mission. Another character, Gigalt, bestowed upon her the nickname "The Swan." He explained this moniker to Tanabe by noting that while Claire’s outward demeanor appears calm and composed, she is actually exerting immense effort, much like a swan paddling beneath the water, just to keep up with her surroundings.
