Summary
As the ruler of the Gastark Empire, Riphal Edea is a formidable warrior who, much like Sion, harbors a strong aversion to war. He strives to minimize casualties whenever possible, operating under the conviction that engaging in conflict is the only means to ultimately prevent it. During a clash with Stohl, he encounters Kiefer and develops an affinity for her after witnessing her attempt to shield two vulnerable children. He subsequently offers her a place at his side, a proposal she temporarily refuses. Riphal wields the Rule Fragment Glouvil, a massive one-bladed sword that bestows immense destructive power, capable of eclipsing large-scale spells, in exchange for sacrifices. To date, he has given up his right leg, his sense of smell, and his left eye to harness its strength.
