Summary
Mihaya makes his debut in chapter 2, where he abducts Shirayuki from a mountain with the intent of profiting from her rare red hair. He reveals that he was formerly a noble who lost his wealth, rank, and social standing, leaving him so desperate that he is willing to employ any means necessary to generate income. Later, he seeks an audience with Prince Zen, who still harbors a grudge from the kidnapping incident and orders him to be expelled. Zen remains wary and distrustful of Mihaya, suspecting that the man has ulterior motives. Despite this tension, Mihaya provides crucial information about a "pretty boy" who is searching for Shirayuki and may be planning to kidnap her. He subsequently assists in the search for this individual when Shirayuki travels to Tanburn.
