Summary
Shakuyaku, affectionately known as Shakky, serves as the bartender at Shakky's Rip-off Bar located on the Sabaody Archipelago. A former pirate who once sailed alongside Rayleigh, she holds a notorious reputation for having been pursued by the Marine hero Monkey D. Garp. Highly intelligent and driven by the belief that knowledge is power, Shakky is obsessive about gathering information, particularly regarding other pirates, and is frequently seen reading newspapers with intense focus. She was instrumental in alerting Luffy to the existence of nine other pirates who have achieved bounties exceeding one hundred million beli. Despite her open nature, she is protective of her privacy, abruptly changing the subject when Luffy inquired about her age after learning she retired from piracy forty years ago. Nevertheless, she developed a strong impression of Luffy after a brief interaction, openly declaring her support for his dream of becoming the Pirate King. Although she abandoned her pirate life four decades ago to establish her bar, she is infamous for her exorbitant prices, making notable exceptions for Hatchan and the Strawhats.
