Summary
Tall Vassal first appears in Episode 305. The narrative recounts an event from fifteen years prior when pirates invaded a kingdom, seizing five hundred soldiers as hostages. The pirate captain demanded to be installed as the new ruler, a proposition the desperate king was on the verge of accepting. Just then, a subject informed the monarch that a government emissary had arrived. The envoy turned out to be a thirteen-year-old Rob Lucci, whose youth angered the king, who felt the World Government was mocking their crisis by sending a child. When Lucci approached the throne, the king pleaded for the rescue of his soldiers. Lucci coldly responded that the king should not question the methods of the World Government. This interaction left the king deeply confused; despite Lucci's young age, the monarch found himself terrified of the boy.
