Mibu, Kyojiro
Summary
Disguised as the Goyosei member Chinmei, Mibu Kyojiro is actually the second Red Cross Knight, forged from the flesh and blood of the former Aka no Ou. He is immune to conventional swords and can only be harmed by a true Muramasa Blade. Wielding gravity-based powers, he ruthlessly eliminates enemies, including former allies and subordinates, often wearing a mask that reads "Love and Peace" while serving his King. As the Joker for the former Aka no Ou, he provided crucial intelligence on Kyo, Kyoshiro, the Goyosei, and the Taishirou. As one of the five Goyosei members, his specialty is Earth control via Mumyo Dai On Ryu. He fights without weapons, using two small fans to defend himself and launch techniques. His primary mission was to steal the four Muramasa swords—Tenro, Shibien, Hokurakushimon, and Hokuto Shichisei—to destroy them, as they are the only weapons capable of injuring the Red Cross Knights and the former Aka no Ou. Chinmei was deeply in love with the previous seer, who foresaw the destruction her association with the Aka no Ou would cause. She begged him to kill her, and he complied, later claiming he had cried so much he had no tears left, only blood. He told Kyoshiro he had given up on life to avoid painful memories. He first encountered Kyo at Muramasa’s house, killing Mayumi to obtain Tenro before Kyo intervened. After losing a subsequent fight, he reappeared alive as the Spade of Tokito’s Imperial Guards. In his final battle against Yukimura and Sasuke, he displayed Shin Red Eyes but was defeated. Yukimura cut him in half with a short sword made by Muramasa for Yuya, but he survived until the former Aka no Ou reabsorbed him for power. Before dying, he helped Kyoshiro escape from the King’s body, urging him to protect Sakuya, a duty he failed to fulfill for his lover.
