Summary
Gauche Suede is the letter bee who rescues young Lag Seeing in the opening chapter. He discovers Lag hidden among the mail in Coza Bel, a small settlement within the low-class Yodaka District of Amberground. Tasked with delivering correspondence to Cambel Litus, another town in the same district, Gauche transports Lag to reunite him with his aunt, who had been entrusted with his care by the author of Lag's letter data. Described as a caring and enthusiastic worker, Gauche strives to become the Head Bee, the captain of the letter bees, in order to earn sufficient funds to support his sister and secure a peaceful life.
