Summary
A student at Fujigaya Girls' Academy, she portrays the titular character in the school's drama festival adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's "Le Petit Prince". Akira and Kyouko stumble upon her rehearsals and are captivated by her innocent and sincere interpretation, ironically finding deeper resonance in the Prince's lines as teenagers themselves. On the day of the festival, she likely suffers from stage fright and is discovered wandering alone by her senior, Sugimoto Yasuko. Yasuko comforts the crying girl, who then listens intently as Yasuko discusses her own role as Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights. Bolstered by this encouragement, she takes the stage and delivers a successful performance.
