Summary

Hajime Nagumo was a devoted otaku who attended classes with a perpetually drowsy demeanor. He was subjected to relentless bullying and ostracization by both male and female peers, largely due to his proximity to Kaori, the class’s idol-like figure. Following a wish for his tormentors to be transported elsewhere, Hajime and his classmates were summoned to a fantasy world to serve as heroes. There, he was assigned the support class of Synergist and faced continued persecution due to his perceived weakness. After being struck by a classmate’s fireball, Hajime plummeted into a deep abyss. He survived the hellish environment by consuming monster flesh, which fundamentally altered his physique and power level. Physically, Hajime originally possessed black hair, a slim build, and a kind disposition. However, the ordeal in the abyss triggered a violent physical degeneration. Consuming a wolf-like monster and drinking sacred water caused his body to repeatedly destroy and regenerate its bones and muscles, resulting in a hyper-muscular form. The extreme stress of this regeneration process triggered Marie Antoinette syndrome, turning his hair white. His eyes shifted to red, and tattoo-like red lines appeared across his skin, marking his transformation into a demonic entity akin to the monsters he consumed. His personality underwent a drastic shift from initially kind but incompetent to cruel and ruthless. He developed a propensity to eliminate anyone who posed a threat or caused him misfortune, often smiling calmly in the face of danger. This behavior led his companion Shia to classify him as a new type of monster, dubbing him a "Predator." Despite his harsh exterior and lethal tendencies, he remains deeply protective of his nakama.
