Summary
As the chair of the Seishū High School board and the grandfather of Hiroko Ōkubo, Yokomichi is a steadfast man known for his stubborn nature and unwavering commitment to keeping his promises. He is a regular patron of the sake store owned by Akaishi’s father. Although he is visibly weary from the stress caused by Vice Principal Shidō, who is serving as the temporary principal, he carefully conceals his worries from the public eye. During the initial practice match between the first-string and prefab teams, he secretly attends alongside Aoba. In the subsequent rematch, he moves back and forth between the benches of both teams. Following the victory of the prefab team, he strictly enforces the pre-arranged agreement to dissolve the losing squad.
