Summary
Jeff Bogard serves as a background figure in the Fatal Fury series and stands as the adoptive father of Terry Bogard and Andy Bogard. While his exact age remains unknown, he was older than Geese Howard at the time of his death. A former student of the secret Hakkyokuseiken school, Jeff studied alongside Cheng Sinzan and Geese Howard. Under the tutelage of master Tung Fu Rue, the trio earned the moniker "Three Brothers of Godly Battle." When Tung decided to pass on the school’s secret techniques, he bypassed Geese due to his evil ambitions and selected Jeff for his good heart. Enraged by this decision, Geese departed, swearing revenge against both of them. In 1981, Jeff returned to the USA with Tung and adopted Terry and Andy. During a walk with Tung and the boys, their path was blocked by a car driven by Geese’s men, who attacked Jeff with knives. Geese then jumped from the vehicle and fatally stabbed the already injured Jeff in front of his sons. This tragedy fueled the Bogard brothers' determination to travel the world to master martial arts and seek revenge against Geese Howard. Prior to entering any tournament, the brothers ensure they pay their respects at their father’s gravestone.
