Summary
Dr. Shamal is an eccentric womanizer who relentlessly pursues every attractive woman he encounters, quickly moving from one target to the next regardless of his success rate. Beneath his lecherous demeanor lies the identity of Trident Shamal, a notorious assassin and a skilled doctor who refuses to treat male patients. His primary weapon involves trident mosquitoes that he uses to infect targets with lethal diseases. Because he is naturally susceptible to various viruses, he carries 666 pills containing diseased mosquitoes. Shamal claims to be infected with 666 different illnesses, yet remains alive because the conditions cancel each other out, such as a disease that lowers body temperature being counteracted by one that raises it. He previously worked for the Gokudera Family, where he introduced Hayato to bomb-making. Although Hayato initially sought to learn how to use the trident mosquito, Shamal instead taught him the advantages of carrying mid-ranged weapons. During the Vongola Tournament arc, Shamal served as Hayato’s home tutor, though he mostly observed Hayato’s skill development while using paper airplanes as training targets.
