Summary
Amano Jako is a highly popular character whose tough, gangster-like persona lives up to her name. She has a fondness for disco music and has been a smoker since before she even began elementary school. Frequently skipping class with her friends and handing in blank exam papers, she transforms into a model student after meeting Ikari-sensei. This change is lasting, as she goes on to study abroad in the United States after graduating from high school.
