Summary
Eyes is a world-class pianist whose skill is surpassed only by Kiyotaka Narumi, the older brother of Ayumu Narumi. Although he appears cold-hearted, he is not heartless, as evidenced by his gesture of bringing Rio melons to Ayumu while she was hospitalized. He cares deeply for the Blade Children and is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure their survival. Eyes is fiercely loyal to Kiyotaka’s words and places the most faith in Ayumu among all the Blade Children. He possesses knowledge far beyond that of his peers, keeping significant secrets to himself. He becomes one of the primary assassination targets of the Hunters, following Sayoko, but manages to outsmart them at a charity concert with assistance from Ayumu and Kousuke. Eyes shares a unique bond with Kanone, though their friendship seems to fracture when he discovers Kanone’s betrayal of the Blade Children. While Eyes appears to lead the Blade Children, he regards Kanone as an equal or perhaps even an older brother.
