Summary
Hailing from the Uzumaki clan of Uzushiogakure, Mito Uzumaki was a skilled kunoichi who eventually married into the Senju clan of Konohagakure. She holds the distinction of being the inaugural jinchūriki for Kurama, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox. Her first appearance in the manga occurred in Chapter 500, while she debuted in the anime during Episode 247 of Naruto Shippuuden.
