Summary
Ganta Igarashi serves as the central protagonist of the narrative. Initially portrayed as an unassuming middle school student, he is falsely accused of massacring his entire class, an atrocity committed by the enigmatic Red Man. Following his sentencing to death, Ganta is transferred to the brutal penal colony known as Deadman Wonderland, where he is initially overwhelmed by the harsh environment. Soon after his arrival, he uncovers his ability to manipulate his own blood, identifying him as a Deadman.
