Summary
At thirteen years old, Black serves as the older, more hardened half of an orphaned duo residing in an abandoned car beneath a freeway. Together, they defend Treasure Town from external threats. Characterized as a lost, innocent, and impetuous force of violence, Black is the child compelled to mature prematurely. With no possibility of turning back, his primary objective is to preserve whatever remains of White's innocence. Black relies on White to feel worthy and to sustain his hope in the world.
