Summary
Osono runs a small bakery in Koriko, the town where Kiki has recently settled. Throughout the film, she is visibly pregnant, and her newborn baby is shown being fed during the end credits. As the first resident of Koriko to offer Kiki genuine kindness and respect, Osono serves as a maternal figure to the young witch. It is under Osono’s care that Kiki begins her job working as a messenger.
