Summary
Lancia is a twenty-five-year-old criminal affiliated with the Mafia, initially mistaken for Mukuro Rokudo. Born on December 15, he was adopted as a child by the leader of a Mafia family in Northern Italy. This same organization later took in a young Mukuro, who periodically mind-controlled Lancia, eventually compelling him to slaughter his entire family. Lancia eventually fell under Mukuro’s complete control, losing his will to fight and even forgetting his own name, before being captured and imprisoned. After Tsuna defeated him and Mukuro, Lancia was freed from the latter's influence and taken away by the Vendicare. He returned to Japan during the Vongola Tournament, where he defeated most of the Varia's lower members and was revealed to be the strongest individual in Northern Italy. Due to the numerous instances of possession, he became sensitive to Mukuro's thoughts. He departed for Italy after giving Tsuna his family's ring. Lancia wields a giant steel ball and chain as his primary weapon, launching it at enemies using palm thrusts. The ball features snake-like engravings that allow it to track and redirect air currents to create a vortex, sucking in nearby targets and enabling Lancia to change its rotation mid-air. In the anime, he is voiced by Takeshi Maeda.
