Summary
Qin Su serves as the wife of Jin Guangyao and the mother of Jin Rusong. Born to Madam Qin, the spouse of Qin Cangye who leads the Laoling Qin Clan—a subsidiary of the Lanling Jin Clan—she had her life saved by Jin Guangyao during the Sunshot Campaign. This act sparked her affection, leading her to pursue him despite her father’s reluctance. She eventually marries Jin Guangyao and ascends to the position of madam at Golden Carp Tower. Their union is marked by tragedy when their young son, Jin Rusong, is murdered, causing Qin Su immense sorrow. The killing is blamed on a political rival of Jin Guangyao, prompting him to destroy the culprit’s clan in retaliation. Personality-wise, Qin Su is dignified and well-mannered, yet possesses an innocence that borders on being dense. In contrast to many others in the cultivation world, she does not judge people based on their status or origins. Notably, she never looked down on Jin Guangyao because of his mother’s background as a prostitute, demonstrating her lack of prejudice.
