Summary
Leon Orcot is a fiery young detective standing 184 cm tall with blonde hair and blue eyes. At twenty-four years old, he dedicates himself to linking a local pet shop to a string of mysterious deaths across the region. Leon is absolutely certain that Count D is the culprit and pursues him with unyielding determination, fixated on being the one to arrest the refined criminal. As the investigation unfolds, Leon develops a complex and intimate bond with the Count. He holds a deep disdain for the supernatural, initially rejecting D’s explanations for the strange occurrences, though this skepticism is gradually eroded as the story continues. Leon is also notably lecherous, frequently seen chasing after women. Throughout the series, Count D gifts Leon two specific pets—a flowering plant and a butterfly. Unlike other animals sold by the shop, which are intended to teach their owners moral lessons, these two companions provide Leon with crucial support during difficult periods in his life.
