Summary
Aya makes her debut in episode 17, titled "Pickers of Empty Cocoons." Her twin sister, Ito, disappears and becomes trapped within the caves inhabited by mushi. Undeterred by the seemingly impossible odds, including the hopelessness observed even by the Mushi-shi Ginko, Aya persists in her relentless search for a way to rescue her sister and bring her home.
