Summary
Misaki Aoyagi serves as the mother of Seimei and Ritsuka, wielding a significant influence over her sons. Emotionally and mentally fragile, she struggles to maintain a grip on reality and frequently experiences hallucinations, a tendency that intensifies following certain events in volume 5. She exhibits abusive and violent behavior, often blaming Ritsuka for his personality shift and holding him responsible for Seimei's departure. In her abuse, she demands the return of the Ritsuka she once knew. While many view her as a cruel antagonist, volume 5 reveals her internal monologue, exposing a more human and fragile side to her actions that she feels unable to control.
