Summary
Grandpa Son Gohan adopted the infant Son Goku after discovering the boy near the crash site of his spaceship, effectively becoming both his grandfather and guardian. Under the tutelage of Muten-Roshi, Gohan learned the ways of martial arts and subsequently passed this knowledge down to Goku.
