Summary
Soyon is the mother of Erin and serves as a Touda doctor for the Village of Ake. Although she hails from the Mist People, she abandoned her original heritage after marrying Asson, the son of the village chief. Asson died prematurely, leaving Soyon to raise their unborn child alone within the village. Despite her origins, Soyon proved to be a gifted beastenarian and received special authorization to tend to the village's Touda. She subsequently chose to train her daughter Erin as a Touda veterinarian, deliberately excluding instruction in the forbidden techniques of the Mist People.
